he has a 8800GTS

My brother has a 8800GT.... My brother has a LG 24" 1920x1200 monitor... his main game is BF2. He runs this game at 1920x1200 res and all the in game settings to high, plus his AA at 8. It seems to run it just fine. When I built his system... which included a Q9450 and 4Gb of OCZ 1066 mem... it runs this game fine.

So how much slower would a 8800GTS be when compared to a 8800GT ??? :/

Well the 8800GTS should be faster.I had provblems with my 8800GTS 512mb on my old Dell 20.1" Ultra Sharp 2007FP 1600x1200 with Crysis running anything higher than 2xAA and High setting's.BF2 ran good with 4xAA and High setting's.But any higher and the FPS would drop off big time.Causing some stuttering. So im assumming 1900x1200 would make it even worse.I might have went overboard saying some games might not run at all.But i was talking about when the game's would be running at their max settings not lower settings like just high with no aa or anything enabled

Quite a setup you get there, man. Spanning all that distance for the TV display in the living room. Did you use the USB to Cat5 converter for extending the keyboard and mouse?

Great choice Samsung for the second display. Well, for some that's more than enough as a primary monitor. LOL ;)

Enjoy!
