Hi everyone!

I have windows vista on my Toshiba laptop, and I need some help. Since a couple of days ago, whenever I open firefox (I'm pretty sure FF is the culprit) a temp folder will appear on my desktop. In the folder will be one, sometimes two files that are named odd things like "00003448-00000000" and are around 20 MB in size. I couldn't find any place in the settings for FF to make this stop, so I'm concerned.

I'm running Norton right now in case it is a virus. Can anyone help me?? Its not necessarily annoying, I can just delete them once I close FF. But I'm still a bit worried.

Thank you!!!

Go to start and write Folder Options on the search bar. Then click on the view tab and scroll to where it says Hidden Files and Folder make sure this is set to do not show hidden files and folders. Basically it will hide folders like cache folders, temp files and other stuff that there's almost no reason that you need to touch.

Check if that solves that problem.
