Guys,

I know a lot of you might have used Hamachi. Maybe not. But I've got this
software called Tunngle. Anybody tried it yet?

If you have Hamachi, and used that, then you'll know how limited it can be,

If you don't know what Tunngle is, it's a VPN but acts like Steam but for LAN
games. If your game supports LAN, Tunngle supports it. It's good to play
Online on official servers, but I also like to LAN it with mates. And Tunngle's
excellent for that. On Tunngle, you have lists of rooms such as:

Action: Sport: FPS: RPG, etc, etc , etc.

Click on FPS for example, and you have all the FPS PC games listed. You choose
your game, and enter into a room. There you will see up to 255 people.
There maybe several rooms to accommodate if the rooms become full.

I've been using it for NFS:Shift. I've also used Tunngle for the LAN mode, and it
works flawlessly.

The only problems at this stage, is that it's German developed. But the international
version is almost ready for release. Nonetheless, the German version is easy to
work out. It just takes a bit of common sense.

I think this's a great idea. If you get p**sed off with official servers, or want
to try another network, it's a neat idea.
