So anyway I'm playing this old game MOHAA. I've been stuck at the same place for 3 years. Have you ever noticed how the hardest places to get through in games is where you have to protect some moron so you can get to the next level? Anyway after another ½ day of frustration trying to save Sgt. MacTavish or whatever his name is, I hit the Esc button, then Exit and I was back at the desktop. Then I got to wondering when did it start getting hard to escape the evil clutches of the game itself???
So anyway, I'm playing this new game. I've been stuck at the same spot for like 5 or 6 months now, getting killed over and over trying to protect some Sgt. MacDonald. Eventually I realize enough is enough! I hit Esc went into the Options menu so I could get to the main menu, where, at the bottom of a long list it says Quit and I click on it. A new window opens saying “Are you sure you want to quit?” OK Cancel. I hit OK. A new window opens saying “If you quit now you'll lose all the saved game s**t you accumulated. Are you sure?” OK Cancel. I hit OK A new window opens saying “Was that the Desktop you wanted to quit to?” OK Cancel. I'm getting a little pizzed off by now, as you can well imagine. But not wanting to let ANYTHING computer generated get to my blood pressure that's already about as high as I am, by upsetting me, I hit OK. A new window opens that says “We're sorry but you must sign out of Games For Windows Live first. After you are finished you will automatically be brought back to the Esc menu so you can begin the Quit Game procedure again.

What kind of diabolical games asks you to sign out of windows live first?
