Plug you can revive this site by writing Articles damnit! I like your sense of humor, you'll just need to travel a lot to big hardware conference and spend a lot of money for the sole purpose of entertaining us!

I actually used to write articles for a site, but stopped and don't remember the address now. I would do it for this site if allowed though.

Well lets get some people to write some, I'd be willing to do it. We can have them proof read by admins before they are posted to the site.

Well that could be an issue for reviews....as only people WITH that particular piece of hardware could do it.

But games and software a lot of people could do.

I could write articles on several games and pieces of software at least. I could do my hardware also but it would be sort of pointless at this point.

I'm glad you guys thought of me, but ...

What I really want to do for HWA is devop new site features and more or less give the site a modern overhaul but keeping in the HWA tradition of simplicity. This has been a great community to me for years, and seeing it decline the way it is disappointing.

True that. The site owner's practically abandon this site. The forum mods almost no longer moderating. Besides a few die hard members still participating and some random posters here for questions, plus some spammers if you count those, it's been not a lot of activities in the forum lately.

It's not too hard to imagine what will happen to the site, when we, the die hard members eventually get tired...

Though I too would really like HWA to continue to shine.

A big thing we need is articles and hardware reviews. I know there have been offers of letting users post hardware reviews, but as far as I know nobody has actually submitted much of anything. Some members here buy a lot of new hardware, I'm not really one of them.

When I end up buying my laptop it will be the most current hardware I've ever owned, I usually buy stuff that's been out 1-2 years and then keep it until its 5 years out of date. :P

Really, if it weren't for you guys I would have dumped this ghost site already.

All it takes is someone leaving without notice to start the avalanche.

same here Mcfly, my hardware lasts me, as I cant afford to replace it.

same with games, theyve usually been out for a while before I get my hands on them.
