We have a brand new HP Pavilion p6210t desktop PC. It came with Windows 7 Home edition preinstalled.

However, I need this computer to be able to join the domain, which you can't do with Home edition. Not wanting to pay to upgrade to Win7 Pro, I installed Windows XP Pro on instead.

Here's the problem - now I need to reinstall all the drivers, eg ethernet controller driver. But for this PC, the HP site only has drivers for Win7, not for XP.

I called HP cust service, and of course they won't support any OS other than the one that comes preinstalled. So absolutely no help from that area.

Any ideas on how to get Windows XP drivers for this new computer? Or how to get Win7 Home Ed. to join to a domain? This is becoming a nightmare...
