Ok I'm home now....
Well first off; it cost me $320 w/ taxes. There's a $100 mail-in-rebate but it's one of those dumb prepaid cards.

The Android OS is amazing so far, the screen is gorgeous. The keyboard is a bit flat so it takes a bit of getting used too not really being able to distinguish keys via touching them. Comes with 16GB of memory so thats fantastic. Data plan is only $30 a month so thats not bad. It's defenitly a fast phone too, but once i get more aquainted to it i'll add some more.

I'd love to hear your thoughts. I have Verizon and am a huge anti-fan of both Apple and ATT, but I really like what the iPhone does :\

The audio quality is great and so is the touch screen responsivness.

Somethings are kind of tricky to find, like Text Messaging settings arent under the normal settings, you need to go into Messaging and then the menu button then Settings. But i really like how texting is setup it looks like AIM basicly.

Can't believe you paid over $300 AND paying $30 per month.....because...

..I'm surprised no one from UK has mentioned this. But you guys from the US get
ripped off with the phones across there. I've not bought a phone for a year,
but here's and example:

Last year I got a new contract with o2. I got the NokiaN95 on contract FREE
and a monthly tariff of £35! The NokiaN95 at that time was over £450!!

After my year's contract runs out, the phone's mine, and I can get another phone
free lol. Mind you, they've started the 18 month contract plans now, but the 12 month
plans have been on going for years

I'm not a fan of Motorola, but I'll have to check this out.

I always wait for my contract to end to get a new phone, cuz its free (or super discounted). Only s**tty thing is that most contracts over here are 2 years... I have to put up with a basically broken phone for the last few months but it makes it all worth it.

The last phone I got (Verizon Wireless VX6900) cost me $10 and the invoice said it was $299.99 brand new.

I can picture the ad now...

It's a Star Wars-ish theme, wherein some 'Troopers' with iPhones are trying to connect, and instead of Verizon doing 'There's a map for that'*, a Verizon "Can you hear me now?" guy shows up and in an Obi-wan kind of way hover-cars up to the troopers, and tells them 'These aren't the Droids you're looking for' as he tosses their iPhones into a recycling container...and they go on to point out the Droid's features showing how great it is and that it has better coverage, etc.

"There's a map for that" advertisement
(brilliant marketing by the way)

Actually on the Verizon Wireless website on the small print for the Droi page there's a "Droid is a Registered Trademark of Lucasfilms, Inc.". It's also on the box of the phone too haha.

Well i downloaded an NES and SNES Emulators (Nesoid and Snesoid) for $3 each and they run pretty damn good. I havent tried Snesoid yet since im still "obtaining" roms, but i did try Final Fantasy, Faxanadu, and Mario Brothers on Nesoid and they run flawlessly.

Yeah, the new rich kid on the block seems to have managed to get richer by seemingly appropriating a term that Isacc Asimov used and was placed in the lexicon of devoted Science Fiction fans (the hardcores that loathe the use of "Sci-Fi") long before Star Wars.
