I've been using a beta version, and while there are a large number of things I like about it (including great startup time), this part annoys me.

UI consistency. This problem has been with MS for a while now. It's like they have different teams designing different UI's, and nobody talks to eachother.

I know, Office 2010 is still a beta, but I don't know how much of this will be different on the final product. Take a look at this screenshot, on the top, Paint in Windows 7. On the bottom, Word 2010 beta:

What in the foobar? I like the Paint look a lot better, so I hope they end up going that route with Office 2010.

They made such a big deal about that 'office button' and now its not even there!
