Hi i have an issue with a university lecturer about a piece of work i submitted online but it never was received.

He says he can not look at the file creation date for validation because it can be altered!!

Is there anything else i can do to prove the creation time of this document?

Thanks in advance

I just searched online and learned that yes the creation date can be altered with software but as far as I know only for the document itself.

You should check the sent date from the account you sent the document, that should be proof enough. As far as I know you can't modify the sent time that the server has stored. Well maybe you can but I bet it would take some serious skills to perform.

Your best bet though would be to come to an agreement between you and your professor.
