I currently have the 2x2g OCZ Reaper PC2 8500 kit. I have used them for exactly a year in my custom built computer. They have worked perfectly, with ZERO problems whatsoever. I love the sticks, and would keep them if i could, however i am upgrading to an i5 750 and need DDR3 not DDR2. Besides the one year of use, they are in perfect condition; no mistreatment in any way and have been careful in handling.

I was wondering what the going price for this would be. A year old 2x2g OCZ Reaper PC2-8500 kit (No original packaging, but both sticks in perfect working order).

Also anyone interested is welcome to contact me, i am mainly asking the pricing so i can put it up on local listings and hopefully be able to get 4g of DDR3 with as little a dent in my pocket.

Thanks,
Taylor George (Austin, TX)

I have the exact same ram as you can see from my specs below. I believe they sell for something like $117 new. If it were me, I'd be selling for about $80 Canadian.

Do you have any suggestions for a good brand/model for DDR3 by any chance? For a 2x2g set

Taylor,

1yr ago, my brother bought the same exact memory as you have for 70.00USD. I myself was going to get them too but instead purchased Corsair Dominator 4GB 1066 5.5.5.15 for 68.00USD and it came with a 30.00 Visa Gift Card.

With today pricing....

Newegg has your memory for 103.99USD (comes with a 30.00 Visa Gift card) = 73.99 AND Free Shipping.

So..... back to your memory... it is used... no matter how well it was kept.... it is still a used product. Its kinda like a car... once you purchased it... a year later... no way you are going to get the same price.. be nice... but not... even if that same car has a new higher price.

But with that said.... 55.00 bucks would be a good price to sell it in todays pricing... Now if the price was like a year ago... then the use price would be more like 30.00

just my .02cents
