I got this pop up ad while viewing the HWA site. It proliferates like crazy, every HWA forum link clicked will generate one or more. I do have block pop ups On in my browser. Mods and Admins, can you please stop this thing, it's very annoying. Thank you!

Lol, Sean. ;)

This thing is like the porn pop ups of the 90's... pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop!! I better close HWA now. ;)

That doesn't look like something I'd expect HWA to support...either the content or the multiple pop-ups.

I'd do a security scan of your computer and if you don't find anything take it to a base-level scan cause it might be hiding itself from Windows and/or your AV software while running under a normal boot.

edit to add:
of course also consider deleting your temporary internet files and cookies

Temp files clean every time when I close the browser. This ad only occurs when I go to HWA. One or two instances pop out when a HWA link is clicked (won't pop if I don't click).

I will do a scan just in case. Thanks John.

3 words doctor. Ad Block Plus! Oh and Firefox!

I find it weird though, since I barely get a pop-up on this site but I like to click in the ads once in a while to help the cause.

I blocked everything possible that would make these ads stop (all popups, all ads for what I think is the advertiser, etc). I also asked one of our ad agencies to look into it since they are not supposed to barrage people with popups.

Thanks Vit. I don't see the pop any more.

I'll put better blockers from now on, just in case.
