This game looks like it might bring just about any PC to its knees according to the specs it requires. I've never even heard of this game until now.

http://www.metro2033game.com/en/news/9878

Minimum:

Dual core CPU (any Core 2 Duo or better will do)
DirectX 9, Shader Model 3 compliant graphics cards (GeForce 8800, GeForce GT220 and above)
1GB RAM

Recommended:

Any Quad Core or 3.0+ GHz Dual Core CPU
DirectX 10 compliant graphics card (GeForce GTX 260 and above)
2GB RAM

Optimum:

Core i7 CPU
NVIDIA DirectX 11 compliant graphics card (GeForce GTX 480 and 470)
As much RAM as possible (8GB+)
Fast HDD or SSD

Enabling 3D Vision:

Metro 2033 utilizes NVIDIA 3D Vision with compatible cards and hardware. To play in 3D you will require:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275 and above recommended
A 120Hz (or above) monitor
NVIDIA 3D Vision kit
Microsoft Windows Vista or Windows 7

We also recommend the biggest and best monitor you can afford, and a home cinema kit or surround sound headphones!

Thats all bollo.cks....granted a med to high end rig will run this game.///maybe not maxed. They are just trying to get the hype up the game after it was announced a while back and failed to catch on..Hence why you have not heared about it.

I mean if the spec are correct to run the game at what I consider to be min FPS 40+ at least, then more then half the gaming community will not be able to play this...therefore not buy it.

I call BULLSHIT!

OMG Michael.....you are so gullible. Like all the games I had when the slogan popped up and said

"plays best on nvidia"

Like I got it better then anyone with an ATi. Also, great timing eh. just as the first press release of FERMI comes out they release this.

LMAO

Nothing to worry about.....a decent rig will run this. Maybe not maxed but will run it, maybe this is trying to be the new CRYSIS.

lol I'm not gullible at all. I'm thinking this is a joke. I'm sure I will be able to run it easy enough, but we'll see. From the video, it didn't even look THAT good. I bet if it does run poorly, it's due to bad game coding.

It's a good looker, but how the graphics actually WORK means a lot. I'm the type who believes Valve games sucked because animations and character movement ruined the games made by them. TF2 was a bit different though.

Hey Dark longtime man. WHy wouldn't you play it? The game is from some of the guys that brought you S.T.A.L.K.E.R> so you'll know you'lls**t your pants once in a while.

Plug, you're just bashing this game because your precious Ati card isn't even listed on the Optimum requirements. (GeForce GTX 480 and 470) Yes they are that good!!!

Lol! Tell ya what. It's gonna run like stalker. It's gonna be a badly optimised game.
Hence the equivalent specs to run it normally. I don't know, those russian games
are needing major optimisations done to them to run fluidly.

Them STALKER games are terrible....absolute dire stuff. Think they would have learned after the STALKER SOC probs....Ohh no. Sames**t with the new one.

Meats....

I dont care what card it lists. I will be getting a FERMI card in the states unless they are very average. I will have a 5970 for my GF to play sims and the FERMi for me!!!

Lies and slander, STALKER games were pretty good.

I was looking forward to this game for a while since i read about it a few months ago.

People don't seem to realise it says "Optimum" as in the best possible most effecient thing, so it would only make perfect sense to list the highest possible system specs as the Optimum specs.

And the game is designed for 3D play, hence all the nvidia fanboyism of the specs.

Sup

I have too many other games to play. 30+ pc games I spent 1 to 2 hrs with, and a brand new ps3 with a dozen games for it, haven't beaten any yet.

I hate scary games.

I don't like tos**t my pants.

That about sums it up :P

I'm playing RE5 and Heavy Rain right now for PS3, and GRAW2(never played it before) for PC. What games do you have for the PS3 Dark?
