We need beta testers who want to overclock their computers 25-45%

Advanced Computer Cooling needs beta testers to test the ACC Overclocker and overclock your gaming computers 25 to 45% or more. ACC Overclocker™ beta testers will be given use of our patented technology to build their own device (don’t worry, it’s easy). You will be able to lower your CPU and video card temperatures down to 40°F or more without condensation issues. You will be the first people in the world to use this confidential patented technology. We need pre-manufacturing feedback and suggestions from the gaming community.

We want the very best in the gaming community as ACC Overclocker™ beta testers. If you want to have the best gaming computer in the world, contact us at betatest@advancedcomputercooling.com

No, we're not scamming anyone. We're a Northern California company who really is looking for beta testers. Did you look at our website, http://www.advancedcomputercooling.com? It has more information about who we are and the device that needs testing.

Our testing is limited to one machine, but there are so many configurations that we need other people to test for us. That's what beta testing is all about.

If you're not interested, that's ok. If you know someone who does have efficiency issues brought on by excessive heat, send them our way.

hi christian, not to be ignorant or anything but you are giving very little information about what and how and why, we or anybody should do this and what it actually about and involves.

if it's already patent then what is the big secret?

another thing, you stated here as well as on your website that one would build, whatever it is themselves.
what am i building?
how do you know if i have the materials?
will you provide the materials and if not how much would it cost me to get them?

i also saw that participants are not allowed to share there experience?
do we have to sign a NDA or something?

You can either be part of the problem or be part of the solution.

It states on their page that you must buy the materials.

Having voices in your head is normal. Listening to them, common. Arguing, acceptable. However, when you lose the argument, you're in trouble.

Cooling computers seems a far way off from psychotherapy and chiropractic.

We ask that you tell the world your results what ever they are. But we are trying to keep how to build it in the family

If your technology really is patented, then you should know that all U.S. patents upon approval are public record in their entirety. Any attempt in keeping a patent secret after approval is puerile, as anybody could certainly copy them if they wanted to. If someone did in fact decide to copy and market your technology, you could subsequently sue them; that is one of the perks of having your technology patented. Instead of e-mailing me, I would much rather be supplied with the proper patent number(s) here so that I may look for them myself, and prove your legitimacy.

Given that I've found your claimed educational credentials, I'm slightly less accusatory of this being a scam (although this is the only piece of pseudo-evidence I have against a scam). In the case that it isn't, I have some advice for you:

When testing any product, it's extremely unusual and often looked upon as bad business for end-users to pay to test it. If car companies had consumers pay for the parts going into their prototype cars (which no doubt costs exponentially more than the refined end-product) then they go out of business very, very quickly. If something goes wrong with your untested product, you sir should be paying for the consequences. That's part of the cost of research and development.

To draw a non-mechanical parallel, when a new drug is in the process of being certified, none of those who test the medication pay for it. They volunteer.

Pfft.

So we build our comp, with a cooler of your choice and achieve such low temps?

This seems rather useless.

With all due respect, I believe that in order to test and market your product with greater success, you will need to change your business scheme.

Christian,

Above is the reason why people have been suspicious of your post and why we've received several alerts about this thread being an advertisement/spam.

If you want to further the drug analogy - many times the "volunteers" get paid for their time or potential side effects, or they simply get access to experimental drugs that may help with their ailments. Otherwise, there is very little reason for them to participate.

Additionally, if your technology is patented in US, can you provide relevant patent number(s)?

linked in has a nice profil as well

and to piggy back on vitally and the side effects
what if your product fails and my equipment suffers damage from it. will you cover the cost.. partially?

You can either be part of the problem or be part of the solution.

TBH I'm failing to see how you even got a patent. This looks just like a normal water/liquid cooling setup - radiator>pump>tubes>heatsink

Am I missing something here?
