Hey guys. I just spent 6 straight hours trying to get my replacement RAM to work.

I got 2 pairs of Corsair CMX1024-3200C2PT (XMS3032v1.2). All four sticks are the same version, and the same lot number.

My computer won't even post with all 4 sticks. I have tried each individual stick in each slot, and they booted fine, so it's not the RAM or the DIMM slots. I have also tried all the possible combinations of the 4 sticks, but still to no avail. 3 sticks and it will post.

I have also upped the RAM voltage, still no go. The weird thing is, my computer used to run 4 sticks of CMX1024-3200C2PT just fine, but these new ones just refuse to work!

Any ideas?

BIOS update maybe?

Having voices in your head is normal. Listening to them, common. Arguing, acceptable. However, when you lose the argument, you're in trouble.

Tried 3 different versions of BIOS already.

Are you letting the BIOS set the RAM speeds/timings or do you have an overclock that is overriding?

I tried both ways. It's too late now, I'm selling my rig.
