>> Re: Creative's X-Fi Titanium HD!
i also owned creative X-FI Titanium Pro and Asus Sonar
Both sound card were greats than onboard sound card/ no complaints or argue especially watching:
- Movies in 5.1, listening musics also in games, both sound card capable in 5.1 DDL! DTS 96/24, optical outs/analog etc....
- If you use a quality components eg: Onkyo TX-sr608 with yamaha 5.1 speakers or Pioneer VSX-520-K Receiver with infinity speakers sets. (two i had owned) you will enjoy greats sounds produces from those system (smooth, clarity, balance in very common in a satellite/sub arrangement) rather than almost "PC" grade speakers
- If those sound cards only plug in regular pc speakers or crappy 5.1 audio system (PC grade) some pc speakers costs can up to $500 or more but can't give the satisfaction in good sound quality especially in musics listening....
you will get a little difference sound improvement and ended with upset javascript:c(':(',%20false):(likes heavy boomy bass, muddy tweeters (almost pc speakers comes with sub-woofers), satellite/sub arrangement can't reproduce a good balance sound in listening
