MY laptops bios shows me that it pass the HDD test.Then I install win xp after install it cantn't boot, it is freezing when try to start xp. I tooke the HDD out and made partion in another laptop and ckeck it ( scandisk ) it looks perfect. When I put it back my HP laptop
it pass the bios hdd test but can not load any data. what to do. Please help me.

in BIOS is the HDD set to AHCI mode? windows xp needs drivers for AHCI mode.
you could change to IDE mode or compatible mode
