I'm pondering over purchasing a Creative Inspire T6200 or T6100. I need clarity on certain doubts before making my decision.
The Creative Inspire T6200 Speakers:
- Dual Cone Drivers
- Output - 7.5W RMS per Satellite Speaker, 18W Center and 22W Sub.
The Creative Inspire T6100 Speakers:
- Two Way speakers with Front Speakers having Tweeters
- Output - 8W RMS per Satellite Speaker, 18W Center and 26W Sub.
Out of the Two, which speaker would be better in terms of Audio Quality? (I was assuming The Dual Cone Speaker?)
The RMS of T6100 is Higher, does that mean better sound Quality?

Speaker quality can be misleading. E.G. just because one set has tweeters and another doesn't is not an indicator by itself that the speakers with tweeters are better.
Another spec to look at is THD (total harmonic distortion) of the amplifiers. The lower the value, the better. Even superior speakers will sound like crap with a "high" THD. I built my own power amps just to get THD down to where it was virtually unmeasurable on commercial THD testing equipment. I'd shoot for less than 0.05%, but I bet most computer amps these days are in the greater than 2% THD. Blech!
But the last item of all is the human ear. Only listening to them can really tell you which is superior.
I have heard the T6200 speakers, they're great for the PC.
Unfortunately, i have not got the opportunity to get a ear on the T6100 speakers as they aren't on demo.
I was confused about the Ouput.
Plus, are dual cone drivers better than seperate ones?
