I am thinking about getting this. It is CHEAP, like $80.....

Will it really be a lot cooler than air?

Ask Plug. He owns that or a similar model series.

....I'm back, but only as a part-timer... :)

Well I can honestly say the H50 is a very very solid cooler. It actually is better then my previous HSF the Tuniq120 with a high end fan.

My Idle temps are :-

Core 0 - 40c degree's
Core 1 - 37c
Core 2 - 42c
Core 3 - 38c

Gaming NEVER goes above very early 50c's.....p**s easy to install and whisper quiet....GREAT VALUE.

I know MOTHOW has the same cooler made by someone else, not sure of the specs or price but its very similar....send him a PM and he sort ya out.

i5 2500K @ 4.8Ghz- Corsiar H50 WaterCooler- Coolermaster Realpower 1000w- Asus P8P67 Deluxe - Asus 6990 4GB - 8GB Corsair DDR3 2000Mhz - X-Fi Sound - 7.1 Surround Speakers - BenQ 24" TFT - G9x Mouse- G19 Keyboard

I think I'll pick up watercooling just before Summer. My apartment gets f**king hot as hell in summer.

Even now whenh its -30 degrees Celsius out, the apartment is in the mid 20's with no heat on......
