A new Thread. Post proper scores please. This new thread is also dedicated to the
Sandy Bridge Rigs also.

I got a new Score tonight of P5792 3DMarks for a SINGLE card.

http://3dmark.com/3dm11/454439

The highest I've had to date.

CPU OC'd to 4.410GHz
Ram OC'd to 2100MHz DDR3 TRi CHNL

GPU OC'd to Core: 800MHz Shader Clock: 1600MHz Mem Clock: 1990MHz (Effective 3980MHz)

Had the 5000+ Scores since last week

NOTE: Unfortunately, the new Nvid Drivers from today (which are certified) - 3DMark
don't see them like this ffs!

Tam...

so what exactly is considered a "good" score in that benchmark?... I haven't really payed attention to it since they made people pay for a halfway functional version with Vantage.

I've got the biggest D|CK on my steam account....Plug! :P

GTX580's get just over 6K. We've done exceptionally well Bungle. Those are very good
scores we've achieved. The highest yet is 20k. But that's with Quad SLi in 580's OC'd.
Big scores are not expected on this 3DMark11

CPu: 3.5Ghz, GPU: 880 / 1760 / 4000mem

I built a rig for a friend of mine today, using the same GFX card as mine, but its a Sandy Bridge based system, with an i5 2500.

I clocked his card to 850 / 1700 / 4000, and his CPU was stock (well apart from the auto overclocking thingy, its non K) and it hit 4k.

Some power in those Sandy Bridge CPU's I tells ya.

In case the link dont work I got 6099 3D marks running the standard test, never used this before so if I ran the wrong one....TUFF.

All the same....not only have have all you GEEKS got a much better CPU its clocked far higher then my p**s poor rig (test was ran at 3.7Ghz).

So this test is more Graphics Intense than overall stress of a rig is it?

Any way I have the biggest E PENIS....coz I have the best score.....NEXT!

4 Tests are GPU. 2 are CPU. If you'd a Single card, you'd be lagging behind hah :P

Well I for one am calling "BOLLOCKS" on bungles score....something deffo up. I know that the new i7's throttle back alot when not in use unlike the older gen i7's so if that is what is happening when the GPU test where running would make sense other wise something deffo up.

Either way, if running 3d Mark 11 all day I might be worried.

I'd imagine the reason Tam has the slightly inflated physics score is down to purer memory bandwidth (triple v dual channel). I didn;t realise 3d Mark 11 physics test was as bandwidth hungry. More so that cinebench, or video rendering etc odd....

But if doing things like I usually do, like play games, photoshop, video editing, after effects, zip / unzip etc the i7 2600k cannot be caught.
