Hello, I also go by "Professor OC".

I modify hardware in order than I can achieve exceptional overclocking results. This is my latest. Follow the link if the image doesn't appear.

You modify hardware??

So have you reconstructed the silicon in your CPU? Have you re-engineered the voltage regulation system on your motherboard?

Are you using any type of 'exceptional' cooling such as a cascade or LN2? Have you volt modded your motherboard?

I cannot view your picture, its blocked by my work proxy. Could you please post the stock, and overclocked clock settings, as well as all voltage values.

I'm very curious to see about this modified hardware of yours, and what modifications you performed!

Yes I do, but what I do exactly in the lab is top secret and not publically available information. I had overclocked the Intel Core2Duo to some 9,0Ghz. Hopefully you will soon be able to see the screenshot of CPU-Z there and see for yourself.

As for the temperature control, my lab PC is set up in a Cold Room kept at a steady -100C. It is a bit chilly to be in there too long.

He split his mainboard and inserted a copper plate as well maybe?....did you have to insert stronger traces?

Please post directly to CPU-Z as well, not a print screen saved to photobucket

How do you keep out moisture?

Cna you tell us your timings, voltages etc?

You would not even be able to achieve these results if you have the voltages and timings as we modified the CPU. And built a special mainboard.

We use heatng elements inside parts of the case to prevent moisture issues. But the super cold air of the cold room is pumped right over the CPU, you see.

So, you post a simple CPUz screenshot, and then don't tell us how you (supposedly) did it?

1. I would need a lot more than a CPU-Z screenshot as proof.
2. If you achieved 9Ghz on a Core 2 Duo, you would have the world record, and you would be known everywhere.
3. I will require at the very least a full desktop screenshot, including CPU-z, overclock software, maybe a futurmark results screen, and at least a futuremark result link showing your CPU speed. Oh, a CPU-z verification too would be nice.
4. I don't believe a word of it.

I could make my Phenom II run at 20Ghz - wanna see a CPU-Z screenshot?

Finally - what exactly what the point of your post? Just to post a possibly faked CPU-Z screenshot?

Exactly why would you need a custom version of windows? lol

Not that thats a custom version, its just a god awful looking wallpaper.

I fail to see what difference the OC would make to overclocking a cpu.

Please go and troll elsewhere.

I've seen it all now. First off, always REMEMBER to REMOVE the Fake Overclock TAB
from your Firefox. It might help in future...

If I'd that OC, I'd be not only posting proper facts, but also Vids. The lot.
What I'd like to see also is:

Everest Bench Results.
HWMonitor Results with Temps
CoreTemp (Preferably Live Vid and not just a quick clip)

Ram timings, Volts, the lot just like the rest of us.

Oh and most importantly, I'd like to see SuperPI results

And finally - MotherBoard Monitor 5
which you can download from here: http://www.thetechrepository.com/showthread.php?t=74

....I'm back, but only as a part-timer... :)

I've worked extensively in temps as low as -45C.

It was quite refreshing.
