Fro google i found this:

"go to run->Type Regedit->search " StorageDevicePolicies" --> open Write Protected File and and change the value into " 0 ". then click ok. Then Remove Your Device and Insert It."

If none of those help, you can search on [ usb write protect ] in the upper right corner of the HWA webpage. You could add additional terms as needed (like [ remove usb write protect ]).

This topic has been discussed a lot here, and there are many recommended solutions. Some solutions are manufacturer-specific and may work where other solutions fail.
