Living in the boonies, 384k FTL! with 99 ping.
(no wired internet besides dialup)

I could pay $25 more per moth and get 2mbs (max on wireless), but since i have cable at work for all my big downloads, i am okay.

Micro, man that's ridiculous. Those speeds are like 1990's speeds. I can't believe how places in America are still lagging behind.

Yeh I heard my home town area is the last place in England to have such low speed. BT is really (finally) doing something about it. The town where the exchange is has recently been upgraded so it shouldn't be too long until we get an upgrade too.

6mb and what appears to be 512k upload.

Choice cable --> $28ish monthly. Great price imo, but DSL prices are ridiculous!!!

Well I am getting 20MB and it is very very quick....had a few problems with the ISP but when it works it is flawless and really really fast. And I do not get throttled at all.....20MB all the time. Does not make a bit of difference online gaming or anything but getting D/Ls is mental quick....like an ATI driver that is 100mb of so in like less then 2 mins. Trouble is, like Michael C said when you get used to this speed you cant go back to a slow connection.

I honestly taught that the USA would be well and truely leading the way with broadband speeds, seems not. I know by the end of March I can avail of 100MB Fibre direct but I aint gonna get that.

I currently pay €100 p/m for my internet, phone and all my TV channels in 3 rooms in my house which is very good TBH.

Asia is the place to go for fast/cheap internet. USA's speed/cost ratio blows when it comes to internet.

24Mbit FTW.

Connection is never below 22Mbit. Just d/l'd the crysis demo, while surfing, in about 10 mins.

Usually 25-42~ms ping to local servers.
