operating system not found

I have checked boot order 1 HDD, 2 FDD, 3 cd-dvd, 4 Lan ....
went into set up and double checked and reset all to factory defaults
any suggestions?
Thanks

Well, Dr Breen, it seems Freeman has finally defeated you!

I am not sure if I can disable the boot from lan option or not, firstly I would not know how I would do that would that be a software based choice or a hardware choice i.e. jumper?
