The display is very very dim on my laptop. I have replaced the LCD screen so I don't think its the inverter or the backlight. It connects to an external monitor just fine. Brightness setting is all the way up and everything as well. It's almost like the "Display Off" button is pressed down and won't come back up. Any thoughts? I'm out of ideas here.

Thanks!
