I just absolutely WASTED a half hour trying to have a client install an older version of Reader because of your unnecessary and frankly stupid download manager.
your DLM SUCKS.
Your instructions are incorrect for IE9. The prompt for the active X control, WHICH SHOULD NOT BE NECESSARY TO SAVE A DAMN EXECUTABLE, is at the bottom. Your instructions do not reflect this.
Again, your DLM SUCKS.
Because, when dealing with a client who needs assistance with a relatively simple downgrade, they need absolutely everything spelled out for them, and if one thing is out of place, they get stuck. So when you show the example as putting the information bar at the top, it takes an extra 5 minutes just to get the goddamned DLM STARTED.
To repeat, your DLM SUCKS.
Because, when trying to contact you to notify you this is a problem, there is no easy way to do so. Clicking on the Contact Us link refers users to an FAQ or you can call for $39. You have a few common problems listed which don't answer the question and certainly don't allow for contact. There is a link that says "problem not answered? Contact us!" WHICH TAKES YOU BACK TO THE EXACT SAME SPOT. GOING IN A CIRCLE HERE, GENIUSES. NOT HELPFUL.
All because of some goddamned update which breaks our system, yet again.
