Hi all;

Well, my HDD fragged. I lost WIndows 7. All my disks are back in the states :( I had Ubuntu 11.04 on a Live CD. It did a quasi fix on the HDD, so at least it's running for now. I loaded up Ubuntu onto the laptop until I get replacement HDD and my Windows disks..

But I've noticed two things:
1. The laptop's function keys dont seem to work. I set the keyboard for my laptop ASUS, but the F9 key wont turn off the touchpad anymore :(
2. Is there support for USB 3.0? All my other USB ports work. I can plug my Western DIgital USB 3.0 passport into the 2.0 drives, and the laptop recognizes, and I can pull files from it. But when I plug into the 3.0 port, nada...
