Well, it might be a couple more weeks until I get my new HDD and Win 7 disks..I do like Ubuntu, and am growing fond of it, but many games and such I have are Windows...so I'll most likely be doing a dual boot setup.

But, can someone tell me a good program for merging .wmv video files, or .avi files...for Ubuntu?

Also, what are some of the good forums, besides HA :), for Linux and Ubuntu help?

Possibly this specific section will help. But like I said in my referenced post, it's been a long while since I last visited so I can't talk to its current quality/comprehensiveness. It used to be very helpful in multimedia editing tips and software pointers.

They also covered Linux multimedia somewhat.
