Just rebuilt my PC and used it fine for about a week with these speakers but now I'm getting a fast (3 or 4 a second) clicking noise only from the subwoofer. I still get it when nothing is plugged into it, no speakers or inputs. I suspect interference but I've unplugged everything within 10 feet and I have it plugged into an UPS. The sound goes away when i power it off or mute it but not when plugging/unplugging inputs and speakers.
Any advice or is it dead Jim?

It sounds like something like a ground loop problem. This is common with a lot of speakers.
It could be as simple as a plug not pushed into a port (sound card) or a strand of speaker wire grounding out or the + and - touching each other.

Try disconnecting everything but your sub, including headsets and see if it clears up.
