Wow that's a really great card for the price though you should consider a 1gb 6870 for $10 to $15 more. You can probably overclock the 6850 to those speeds but you won't have as many streaming processors, whatever that means :P

springs as in better suspension? You just need to learn how to evade pot holes lol. I think the most important skill a driver needs to learn in Puerto Rico is how to evade big ass pot holes, I learned the hard way :(

No, no, no! The thing is to learn how to evade pot holes while looking at those big ass Puerto Rican girls! And sorry Meats but this IS the card I decided to get that was $10 or $15 more than I can afford. Brought it home last night, installed it and went to bed. I spent 6 hours on a bus round trip in the rain going to Newegg will call to pick it up, so I installed it and went to sleep. First ATI/AMD card since my 9800 All-in-wonder which I hated. I hope I like this card. So I walk into Egg in tore up clothes and a 6 day growth on the face, and went straight to the bathroom then to the couch and plopped down (I had to walk the last mile and can't use the bike with an arm in the sling). Of course the security guard had to come over to see if I was an actual customer (I get that a lot, a lot meaning ALL the time) Then the guy at the desk asks if I have a pick-up so I give him my paper and go back to the couch. Then one of the other guys waiting says is that a gift? and I say well ya, for me.. Oh are you an artist? No I'm a gamer and my card sucks. What do you play. depends on my mood. Currently I'm playing Black ops metro 2033 the new Battlefield 3 Beta Witcher2 Deus Ex, blah blah. Then some guy asks which card I'm replacing so I tell him 9800GT but get into how the 460 didn't work on my mobo and it turns out this guy has the exact same (P5Q) mobo and a 460 with issues. Then it turns into tech talk and all this time I'm wondering why it's such a big deal that a 62 year old man is a gamer. Are you supposed to be under 30 to game and look at Morgans big boobs or what?

Anyway I've never used the hdmi interface on this monitor since I got it and it looks like it was DOA but I never knew it. Sigh... The last thing I'm gonna mention is how Egg seems to always do something better than anyone else does, and the new will call is no different. They keep it open till 7:00PM. How cool and smart.

Haha great story hippy. Lol He thought you were an artist  You should have asked the dude for a ride and then his Steam ID so you can game with him lol.

I didn't know that Newegg had a store. Is it like a Best Buy or just to pick stuff up?

Also, how are you enjoying the card? What games are you playing? Are your eyes bleeding from the maxed out graphics? :_)

In your case Meats, you need to learn how to avoid Big Ass Puerto Rician women on the streets.... where do you think the pot holes come from?

I am replacing my springs on the miata because over the years, the rears are getting tired and has becomed a little bit saggy.... the rear of the car now sits about 3/4" lower than the front. You dont notice all the time but at certain time, the car does have a little bit of a saggy ass to it. That kinda bothers me.. So, I have ordered a new set of aftermarket springs that should take care of it. Plus the new springs will provide better performance as the current springs on her are stock variety. So the new springs should and additional performance to my already installed aftermarket sway bars and shocks. I will be doing this task next saturday during our miata club Tech Day where we will be wrenching on our cars at a local performance shop.

No it's like the reception desk in front of a big warehouse. Like Mwave, only Mwave charges you $5 for a will call. I'm just playing old games right now. At higher settings. I haven't got to try the 24x anti-aliasing yet. Honestly it's still a little painful using the mouse.

Hah! Never did learn how to do that correctly, I almost crashed once and everytime I look at one there's a big f**king pothole!

On my 2nd trip to PR, I did worst than hitting a pothole. Here is the story... So, I was driving a rental car with my GF on a PR highway at night, and we decided to stop by a roadside restaurant to eat. The restaurant was amongst 5 or 6 businesses (stores / restaurants / car shops) in a row. Each business had its own small parking lot in front. Because they were on a hill, the parking lots were like stairs, separated by a 1 to 2 ft drop in between! It was at night, so I wasn't aware of the "terrain" at the time. I drove pass the restaurant a bit to the adjacent store, as I was turning around, I drove the car off the "step" in between the parking lots. The car fell 1.5 ft head first, f**ked up both the front and rear bumpers, scared the f**k out of my GF, and totally degraded my previously faultless driving skills. ;)

If you want to visualize what happened, below is a picture of a similar situation. Only that it was only about 1/2 the height of the wall (looks like 3 ft high there) in the picture. But even at 1.5 ft, it's enough to damage the front bumper as it hit the ground, and the back bumper as it hit the edge of the "step". And no there was no warning sign, what-so-ever, in the premise. Boricuas don't care if you f**ked up your car in a parking lot. XD

In case you wonder, I did get the car repaired in a private shop, cheaply, before returning it to the rental office. ;) Just needed to reattach the bumpers, and some cosmetic touch ups.

Lol Dr.Paz sorry to read that. I actually know what you mean and I hate that those restaurants don't have enough post lights to fully illuminate the parking entirely, just the entrance, those f**kers are cheap when it comes to outside maintenance of their place. I hope the food was worth the scare though.
