Interesting power/temp profiles relative to other cards.
Yet again absolutely NO mention in the review about the quality or type of fan used in the abso-fracking-lutely critical cooling subsystem.
I've been really hit hard by fan failures (including fans that just get unbearably louder over time) after using various cards for ~1 year. I see no reason for a high-cost graphics card to use the crappiest and CHEAPEST fan they can fit onto the board, yet that seems to be the SOP for the manufacturers. The fans are also often custom jobs that cannot be replaced except by warranty, unless the user is willing and able to do extensive custom-work that includes use of precision tools and high-skill level to modify a retail fan to replace the bad fan in a card. (I've even "extracted" a retail fan motor+spindle a couple times and mated them to the existing impeller on the graphics cards. It worked, but it's not something I'd like to have to repeat)
