  Event Viewer Cleaner?
 Date Written
Dr. Peaceful Mar 31, 2012, 02:59pm EDT Report Abuse
Back in the days of WinXP, there are only a few event groups in the Event Viewer. Pretty easy to take care of. In the current Win7, there are over 120 sub-groups in the Microsoft event group along. It's a chore to go into each group to clear them one at a time.

Is there a quick way to clean them all at once? Or is there an util to do that? Anyone know?

Click on link below. This is a Batch file. Run it, and within 30 or so secs, it's all clear.
It's safe and I use it. In fact, I just used it as your post reminded me to do so! lol

....I'm back, but only as a part-timer... :)

Thanks, will give that a try. I actually saw similar batch codes before. But I didn't (and still don't) really understand the codes in the batch file, that why I hesitated to use it. I was hoping that there's an util that can do that. Would be great if something like CCleaner can have a feature for cleaning event viewer items.
