SOULUTION THAT WORKED FOR ME - WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS TO DOWNLOAD THE '"TOSHIBA PASSWORD UTILITY TO DELETE THE SUPERVISOR PASSWORD"
go to
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp
click on download
select your laptop model and click on "go"
select your OS (e,g windows xpsp2/sp3) then right beside it from the drop down menu selectt "security"
scroll down and download the following: ( i have windows xp sp2)
06-01-2006 Security
ToshibaToshiba Password Utility for Windows XP/2000(v2.01.09; 05-26-2006; 5.71M)

download it and install it.after install it you will see the Toshiba Password utility under
Start- Programs- Toshiba-Utilities- Password Utilility.
(DO NOT USE THAT, IF YOU GO HERE THE OPTION TO RESET THE PASSWORD IS GRAYED OUT)
INSTEAD GO TO:
C:\Program Files\Toshiba\Windows Utilities\SvpwTool
and from there run the file TOSPU.exe; this will give you the tab option for supervisor delete option (not grayed out anymore.
If this works please post your comments.
After i deleted the supervisor password i restart it and was able to go to the second page; you mighty be prompted for the BIOS password to delete the Supervisor password.
cheers
Edgard
