So a while ago I bought a 3870 from one of you guys here, can't remember who.

Card is good, I'm not a hardcore game anyways and my computer can't play newer games, but the ones I do like to play crash every 2 minutes (Oblivion, mainly.)

I have tried everything suggested online, from overheating (mind you, it is not that), tried a fan besides the case, old ass drivers, XP and Win 7 will have the same problem.

Tried using a different overclock profile, still the same.

Has any of you guys come across a problem like this?

Oh and also the card never gives me BSODs or artifacts, its just the damn AMD VPU recover, even when it's set to off.
