I have an Asus Eee PC model 1011PX, a portable notebook. It has an Intel Atom N570 and it comes with Windows 7 Starter. I have accidentally deleted my Operating System and since you don't get any disk with it you have to send it to the factory. I didn't want to do so. When I was trying to install again the Operating system by getting an ISO copy I have noticed that the Intel Atom N570 is a 64-bit processor. I have adviced the tech support at Asus that there could be a problem because they have installed a 32-bit Windows 7 into this notebook. I have received no valid answer. I was able to install a 64-bit operating system but when I went into the Asus web site there was no drivers for the 64-bit version.
While the parts appear to be high quality the software service is kind of slack. It's like selling a Porche with an engine of Golf.
