what laptop are u using then?

According to Newegg, both the T-5xxx and the T-7xxx are Socket P, so yes it should work without a problem.

BTW, these are the differences comparing the 2 CPU's:

T-7500:Clock Speed 2.2 GHz; Cache:4 MB L2; Bus/Core Ratio:11; System Bus:800 Hz
T-5300:Clock Speed 1.73 GHz; Cache:2 MB L2; Bus/Core Ratio:13;System Bus:800 Hz

Physical Address Extensions: 32-bit; Supported FSBs 1066MHz;Clock Speed: 2.2 GHz
Physical Address Extensions: 36-bit; Supported FSBs 800MHz; Clock Speed: 1.73 GHz

Are they pausable enough to not fry the chip and/or any other component?
