So today I finally upgraded to a Blu Ray player (BDP2930) so I got home, hooked it up through HDMI.

Saw the Blu-Ray logo, seemed to start booting, then nothing. Was just black.

It was still running, but blackness. Seemed when it goes black, it shows me a change like it appears to tell me it's changing from 1080 to something else. I reset the video, etc. Nothing. I moved the blu ray player to another room and it works on other TVs through the same HDMI cable, but not on the TV I want to hook it up to (Teac LCDV3255HD 32" LCD/DVD Combo)

I have tried every option in the video menu (720, 1080, 1080i, auto, native, etc) yet it's still running through as black. (I change the option on something that works then plug it into the TV).

Now, my cable is working fine, been using it for my computer and as I said, works with other TVs in my house.

Any idea at all what might be causing this? Maybe the TV doesn't work with Blu ray? It's only 2 years old and has HDMI ports.
