Hello,

My Windows 7 Ultimate x64 version of OS has recently crushed, so I had to re-install the OS. My hard disk was divided into several NTFS partitions (volumes - C, D, E, F, G, H etc). One of them (E:\ drive 50 GB) had bitlocker encryption. Unfortunately, during the installtion phase, not knowing that bitlocker encrypted drives appear as unallocated space, I deleted the E:\ drive, quick formatted and resized the new C:\ system drive (from 50 GB up to 100GB (+50 GB from the old E:drive)) for the new Win 7 Ultimate x64 OS. Later on, realized that I have deleted the most important info in my laptop.

My question is: Did I really erase all data on my encrypted drive after deleting, quick formatting and including it in the new C:\ OS drive. If not, is there a chance to recover my data.

Any suggestions will be helpful.

Thanks a lot in advance.
