This is a sweet little freeware program. You can go through your services and processes and set the utility to disable temporarily while it's running any that are not necessary while gaming. With the game Booster set (You can decide on the ones you want to shut off or let the Game Booster do it for you. I use the auto function, then add more manually for disabling myself). On my Win7 64bit system I only have to click on the desktop icon and it shuts down 23 items. It says I'm getting a 40% boost I don't know about that but the performance boost is easily noticeable. From their web site at http://www.razerzone.com/gamebooster ... "Getting the absolute best performance out of your system and games isnít rocket science but it can sure be tough to figure out. In partnership with IObit, Razer Game Booster is your simple yet power solution. All it takes is a click of a button, and it will automatically enhance the state of your system and focus all its resources purely for gaming, allowing you to zone in on your game the way itís supposed to be played without wasting time searching online for the best game settings or configurations." Check it out if you game. It works as advertised!
