I just got my third monitor and ran 5760 x 1080 on Quake Live and Shadow of Chernobyl/Oblivion lost and i'm kind of underwhelmed.

SOC is actually OK, although the hud stretching in the backpack is annoying. QL looks super lo-res.

More annoying is that everything is fullscreened across all three monitors. Without eyefinity I can have a browser or game fullscreened on one monitor and Rainmeter on the other one for a clock and such. But with it, it sucks. FOr example right now, this field takes up half of one monitor. The other two are just white. Plus the window controls are about 48" away, and the system tray is too...

Anyone got any killer apps or tips? I might sell this third monitor if I can't make this a little more useful.

Edit to add:
MSI 6870. Drivers up to date. It's more a usability issue than anything else, just wondering what experiences others have had.

Also tried UT3 and the FOV was messed up and couldn't correct it in game, might poke around google for a config fix.

2nd edit: can resize windows to just one monitor, this works.

Sir, the main problem here is that AMD/ATI sucks, and their drivers/applications have sucked since 10.1 catalyst.

Glad you got it worked out (a bit, i guess).

Yeah I'm selling this third monitor. I don't feel like it improves functionality at all, or at least enough to warrant the cost. Maybe in a few key places - LMMS or spreadsheets could be pretty awesome spread across that much real estate, but I don't use either of those very much.
