What I want to know is, which Intel socket is expected to last the next 10 years or so? Which one is going strongest and looks like it will be around a while like the 775 was? I am looking to upgrade my PC, and I want to get something that will be common. Currently my CPU is an 1155.

I doubt any socket will last that long again.Looks like Socket 1150 is the mainstream socket now but for how long is anyones guess.
