  Faulty Cmos Problem

I'm Running Intel DG31GL Mobo And Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 (Quite Old), 4Gb Ram
First Of all My Pc Is Having no Audio it shows "No Audio Input Driver Is Installed"
I have trying updating it by it shows Best Drivers is Already Installed And sometimes It Give (Code 10)
And Secondly I cannot Set My Resoltuion To 1440x900 Thats Native Resolution For My PC.
3-4 Days Ago I Got The Cmos Checksum Error..
And My System Clock is Always Showing Incorrect Time

Incorrect time is due to CMOS problem and a new battery replacement can work . But i don't think that the problem of audio drivers is due to faulty CMOS battery. It can be due to unloading of drivers or some update to the drivers.

BTW what OS are you using on the PC? Also i think your PC is lacking some essential updates. So, go for them first.
