Whenever I play any game on this laptop if I ever use the keyboard like to move then the computer locks up for a couple seconds and when I stop using it it is fine. It also does it when Im typing sometimes. It is the keyboard on the laptop. Could it be since the hardware is under the keyboard that they keys are putting pressure on the video card and other things or what could it be?

Are there any drivers for the keyboard? Myabe you want to uninstall them then reinstall. Also see if plugging in an external keyboard results in similar problems.

your laptop might have an electric fault. when you press the keys it might be shorting other parts of the laptop. by pressing the keys you are not putting pressure on your video card or anything else since keys dont put force on anything they are suspended in air and simply get pushed down. try to uninstall the keyboard and use and external one. if external one works you have to get rid of your laptop keyboard. simply uninstalling it wont work since windows detects it automatically.

I have a unrelated similar question on my Dell laptop a key poped off the plastic on it is broken but i have a good key from another laptop. the only thing is i cant seem the get the metal X shape in right... Does anyone have info on how to accomplish such a thing without sending it to Dell for $200 its just the Fn key i really like the key and use it a lot but i could live without it... it just makes my laptop look very old with a key missing.
Thanks for the help !

There are a number of different types of laptop key, almost every model is different and quite frequently because Dell outsources the manufacturer of there keyboards there are a number of different types of key for the same model.

http://www.laptopkeys.co.uk sells lots of different Dell keys, they even have pictures of each one so you should be able to work out if it is going to fit.
