I'm going to attempt to replace the hard drive on my PCG-F650, per all the advice I read it can be done. I've never done anything this before so I apologize for any inane quastions. Once I replace the hard drive do I then use my system restore discs or can I go straight to a Windows XP install (I know there may be problems with XP and this laptop)? Sony puts so much junk in there I'd like to start fresh.
