>> Re: Tyan MP S2460 Motherboard Problems PART 2
Tyan TIGER MP S-2460. Wow my first dual processor machine.
(2) Athlon 1.2 Ghz. MP's
Apacer 512 Meg. reg. PC2100 ram.
Ati RADEON 7000
Netgear GA302T NIC.
(3) Western Digital 80 Gig. 7200RPM HD's
(2) Case fans, copper heatsinks, CPU shims (copper), (2) HD coolers.
A-1 Electronics 400 W ATX PS.
Windows 2000 Server OS.

I built this BEAST in October 2001. Ran Very well for 3 months, then the PS 3.3v section went puff. Installed new A-1 Electronics PS, ran well for past year, and last night I lost another (???) PS. Machine starts to boot up and stalls. Reboot to CMOS, hardware monitor says everything is fine, but now fails to finish boot. No BIOS flashes / Updates or Setting changes.
This was my network server. I have digital thermometers monitoring cpu temps, case temp. and PS exhaust temp. All are normal.
Any Ideas? Solutions or Sugguestions are welcome.
Thanks,
DEAN
