I've got a Dell P1110 21" monitor, which has worked OK for a couple of years. Now however, it's started zooming in and out when I switch between windows i.e. the screen size grows and shrinks according to which window im currently on. I don't think it's my computer because i've had the same problem with two different computers running the monitor which have had completely different hardware in them.
can anyone help, this is doing my head in!

What you could try is setting the screen to 1024x768, then use the monitor's size controls to maximise the image. Change to 800x600 and do the same again. Repeat this for all screen resolutions you use. In the past I've noticed the image on my Sony monitor, when switching from 1024x768 to 800x600, the image lost about an inch on all sides. Adjusting the image by this method cured the problem.
I am having the same problem on my Dell P1110. I am convinced it is an HV power supply problem. I have seen similar behavior on consumer grade video monitors due to inadequete power supply. When the screen is brighter the picture shrinks. Has anyone found the solution to this problem?
