rendering in 3d studio max 4 with my p4 2.4 ghz 512 cache is slow is there any driver or update to 3dsmax4 that can help to increase the speed of rendering.
And is 3d studio max 5 optimized to work fast with pentium 4 i'm considering buying 3dsmax5.

I have the Studio and believe me it is slow, although in version 5. I have an athlon 2100 and a 512 ram. If you want to make your rendering faster get a pentium hyperthreaad or overclock
