Mine comrades

System specs -

XP Pro w/SP1
512 DDR 400 RAM
A7N8X-DLX
Athlon 2600+
Radeon 9800 PRO A.I.W

Problem:

the fooken game menu doesnt show - I have tried all friggin settings I can think of. I can get in by just pressing enter when the menu should be there and play the game and the actual game graphics are fine. but if I escape to menu then *bling bling* - nutting.

In otherwords the front-end (menu sub-sytem) of the game doesn't display properly, or not at all, Am using Catalyst 3.9 Drivers but have installed the Call of Duty HotFix (which sorted out all my OpenGL games - but not AoD)

Any help will be met with multitudes of praise.

I didn't have that problem with the game. But I did have alot of other problems which were solved by un-installing it. Then re-installing it. It runs perfectly now.

AthlonXP 2100+ @ 2.2Ghz
512Mb DDR RAM
GA-7NNXP
256Mb Radeon 9800XT - Catalyst 3.10
XP Pro SP1

I've been having the same problems. When starting the game, all I get is a blank screen, unless I put the gamma settings up as high as possible. Then, I get a very faint background image, but no menu. Plus the game looks horrible. My biggest problem (apart from an inability to assign keys) is that if I try to access a menu from in-game (ie. try to select an object or weapon), the game freezes, and I have to quit.
Sure, this succeeds in keeping me in the game universe, but you have my full sympathy. Plus, it causes me to cry out "Why doesn't anyone come up with a solution already?!?"

Yours in hell,
Rublore - the evil god of rubbish games
