That o/c seems to be fine for the nine eight pro, score's decent enough but for a 9800pro you shouldn't be running anything less than 1024x768 - :) waste of the card if u do.

About your driver issues, what's the rest of ur machine specs? First suggestion would be to remove ALL installed ATI files from the C.P Add/Remove. Install the Catalyst 3.10 Drivers (Stoopid revision number as 3.9 is numerically higher than 3.10 DUH ATI!). Make sure DirectX 9b is installed and see what happens.

If you still get lock ups, then try disabling fast-write for AGP in BIOS.
Does it still lock with the other drivers if you run stock speeds?
Other thing to do is try disabling VPU recover in the 3.9 or 3.10 drivers - see if that stops the crashes.

What cooling you running on that card out of interest?

Hope something here helps. G'luck
