I'm on a seriously limited budget, but i would like to know does anyone have any experience over-clocking this motherboard on a Duron, i know that the Bus speed is reachable to about 150mhz, thats enough for me, but will the auto-voltage cope with it? or leave the processor without enough power?

List the rest of your specs, if you're worried about gaming performance, overclocking your video card is inarguably safer and will probably give you more gains.

I am currently running one of these boards and on the front side bus speeds I only have 100 and 133 available I have seen no way to overclock. I have tried downloading the bios updates from ecs but have been unable to get them to open with ME. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

There's a program called SoftFSB that lets you adjust the FSB when in Windows, but I don't know if there's support for that motherboard.

You can download it here: http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0-10106-100-4375492.html?ta...-1.4375492

for overclocking bios go here

http://www.ocworkbench.com/2002/ecs/k7s5abios/cheepobios.htm

before flashing your bios id recomend getting an extra chip just in case
you have a bad flash
you could also order a chip from

http://www.badflash.com/

just have Jack put the overclockers bios on chip

or if you feel comfortable enough to do it yourself check near by pc store if they have old chip from dead board

after changing the bios chip pull
cmos jumper off turn on pc
wait 1 second turn pc off
replace cmos jumper
start pc go into bios fix settings
