I am using a Linksys WRT120n and am having the same problem When you try and access the routers settings from 192.168.1.1-it asks for the password etc. When you put it in-it tells you it is incorrect. You can't upgrade or even check the version of firmware unless you can access this function. It is maddening, I have reset to factory defaults twice and gone through the setup process three times now.I think this particular router has issues.

The default password is usually written on the router itself, or in the documentation.

username is usually admin

Password, is usually blank, 'admin' or the serial number of that particular router.

Where can I get some authentic information on it?
Please help.
